Quixter uses palm vein recognition to provide biometric authentication for transactions at point of sale. It uses the blood passing through the veins in your hand to create a unique ID that can’t be replicated by others – this is because, unlike fingerprints, it doesn’t leave traces on objects you touch and it won’t work if someone cuts off your hand.

Who is involved?

Fredrik Leifland – Founder

Where is it based?

Lund, Sweden
