BankPlus was facing a challenge when customers were giving feedback about how long they had to wait to receive new or replacement debit cards. As a result, cards were rarely used in the first few weeks after a new account was opened.

BankPlus had to find the fastest way to issue customers their debit card as soon as a new account was set up. They chose to work with Datacard® CardWizard® instant issuance software and associated hardware because the software was both easy to implement and compatible with the bank’s card management infrastructure. The printing technology of the card printers produced state-of-the-art unembossed cards that the bank felt would make the instant card issuance program a success.
