Download: How to develop an ecosystem of banked and unbanked customers

create a banked and unbanked customer ecosystemFor anybody wanting to learn more about the benefits and limitations of mobile banking or the ecosystem model of the mobile money industry, this presentation is perfect.

UAE Exchange gave this presentation at The Cards and Payments Show Middle East 2012, starting with an explanation of what the mobile money ecosystem is and the different types of partners in the ecosystem.

The report is a great way to learn more about why mobile money is the future of payments and how you can benefit from it. There are of course limitations to the model which are explained as well and an alternative model is given as a possible solution.

Well this is just a concept and there is nothing much new about the presentation that we did not know already. It grossly lacks on the framework, security compliance, data exchange, reliability, underlying technology for the transactions, etc. not to forget the sharing concern of customer’s sensitive data.

Very basic and general, I was expecting a more detailed discussion.

I would stand to reinforce Mr. Rajeevs comments.

There are countless whitepapers online that not
only look elaborate more on how ‘mobile money’ came to be – but also look to address the technical and monetary/security components that would make it a true success in addressing the un-banked market.

This is for the layman. Not for someone in the payments industry to study/review.

I thought there were some great statistics on the slides and if you want more information you can contact the creators of the presentation.

These were accompanying slides to a spoken presentation which will be available on our YouTube site, this might explain why there was not as much writing on the slides.
The discussion can be found on this video and I will make sure I post the link here when I have it.
Thank you both for your feedback,
    Sophie
