This app, dubbed the "killer app" lets consumers use their iPhone to scan the barcode of a product in store to find out where the cheapest deals are. This price comparison is essentially bringing competition between offline and online retailers to a whole new level. Consumers, for example, can find that the exact same TV they want is being offered $500 cheaper in Singapore with free delivery! Brick and mortar retail stores are essentially losing customers right in front of their eyes!
