Costco invests further $140 million in Australia

 

Wholesale giant Costco has committed to investing a further $140 million in Australia as it maintains its store roll-out program. Costco currently have three stores in Australia and are now look to more open in Victoria, NSW and well as Queensland in 2012. Costco's Australian sales revenue reached nearly $250 million in the year to August 2011. It's Melbourne warehouse achieved annual sales of $165.9 million – more than 10 per cent higher than its global average. You can read the full article online at Inside Retail.
